When medical emergencies happen, basic life
saving skills can make the difference. From first aid and CPR to training in the
use of automated external defibrillators (AED's), the Red Cross teaches people
to save lives when seconds count. Other programs are geared toward helping
people of all ages live safer, healthier lives: HIV/AIDS education, water
safety, babysitting, and more. With 12 million people enrolled in our health and
safety classes each year, countless lives are being saved.
